Offering accurate, punchy bi-color white light, the Astra IP is tough and water-resistant, featuring a fast setup for high-performance broadcast lighting in demanding environments. The Astra IP outshines previous models, boasting an impressive 1,500 lux output at 10 ft (3 m) for the Astra IP Half, and 3,000 lux at 10 ft (3 m) for the Astra IP 1×1. Compact and light enough to handhold, the weatherproof Astra IP delivers exceptional, consistent, high-quality white light in any weather.

Run your fixtures off-grid with a single-position, weather-resistant battery bracket in all conditions. The brackets attach to the yoke and back of the Astra IP. Simply place your battery on the plate, attach the lid, and power the unit via a molded XLR cable, keeping the setup neat and ready to be handheld.

The tough, air- and watertight Pelican case features double-layered, soft-grip handles in addition to a retractable telescoping handle and rugged in-line wheels. Its custom-designed, cut-foam interior keeps the kit secure for storage and transport.

Featuring four sections and three risers with spring cushioning to prevent sudden drops caused by accidental retraction, the included light stands have a maximum height of 93.3 in (237 cm) and fold down to a compact 28.7 in (73 cm). Built for the toughest assignments, Astra IP-Rated Kits are a complete lighting solution for OB, news crews, and freelancers on the go.
