The Astra IP VM/GM Mounting Plate allows the Anton/Bauer Gold Mount and V-Mount Battery Brackets, part numbers 900-3507 and 900-3508, to attach to Astra IP. Once fixed, it allows the brackets to attach to the mounting rail on the back of the Astra IP 1×1 and 2×1 fixtures, and the yoke of all fixtures including the Astra IP Half. Note: this mounting plate is not required to mount the battery brackets to the back of the Astra IP Half because threaded attachment points are built into the chassis.

The Mounting Plate securely attaches to the fixture rail or yoke by clamping onto the threaded insert, providing a secure fixing point for mobile power over years of use.
